Sapulpa Soccer Club is proud to announce the establishment of a local youth soccer academy for the benefit of the members. Academy soccer will provide technical training by qualified, paid trainers who have high school soccer, college soccer, professional soccer experience, and/or hold youth soccer coaching licenses.
General
Academy training sessions will focus on the technical aspects of the game including ball handling and shooting while focusing on increasing speed, agility and strength in order to develop more confidence and ability in each individual player. The purpose of the academy program is NOT to develop teams; the primary purpose is to develop individual players to their fullest potential.
Ages
Academy is open to players from U5 through U11. The age breakdown for 2007/2008 soccer year is as follows:

To every extent possible, players will be grouped with other players of the same age and gender for training sessions.
Scheduling
Academy training sessions will be held one night during the week. These sessions are open to all registered academy players. Guests are also welcome and are asked to pay $5 per session for the trainer.
Fees
The cost for academy training for a club member (i.e. a registered recreational player) is $20 for annual registration for the soccer year (August 1 through July 31). An additional $15 monthly fee is assessed to pay for trainers and academy supplies (equipment, fields, etc). The fee structure breakdown is as follows:
$20 Annual Registration - Pays US Club Soccer registration and Academy T-shirt
$15 Monthly fee - Covers qualified Academy instructors pay.
Other optional academy opportunities such as tournaments may occur and these will likely carry additional expenses on a case by case basis.
